Warning:-Lengthy comments. Please feel free to scroll down to the 2 emails of coincidence this morning if my comments are deemed annoying in one way or another. The 2 emails will more quickly sum up the comments of this in this email. And don't forget to sign the petition of encouragement for the christians involved below...

Just thought I would forward these 2 emails I got in my email this morning. Coincidence!!!??? In the mouth 2 or 3 witness!!! Or just further confirmation that there are real problems in America that the media is completely lacking coverage on!!!! I mean, even if you sided with the otherside on these issues shouldn't they want this reported on publicly. I wonder why not? Is money/ratings/back lash/politics or what? Or all of the above. Is one an excuse for the other or viceaversa...Not only do SOME SECULAR ORGANIZATIONS in the name of NON ORGANIZED RELIGION like the ACLU and its ORGANIZED IN VALUE OR OUTCOME allies seem to want to silence christian public expression but the ORGANIZED LIBERAL MEDIA seems to have already assumed silence already on these issues. Now ask yourself who is doing a better job in silencing christian speech!!! A) Liberal Media or B) those suing christians in the courts. Or are both on the same team!!! I really don't know but one thing that seems quite apparent and frustrating to one side of the issue is that there is a world of difference in conservative media coverage and most non conservative media coverage. I think it is great that you have a media on both sides. I have no problem with that but it is very sad and uninforming when the public free TV air waves are just flat out uninforming on some of these issues. Coverage on the war and how bad it is going I suppose is important information and when it is going well I suppose we don't need positivity coming from that so we have all these shows about how debatable/subjective our court systems are and how desparate our housewives are and how bad the economy is when it is and complete lack of 52 months of continuous job growth and highest stock market records ever until the mortgage crisis and what is going on in an imaginary South Park somewhere in cartoon land and how normal it is to be sexually active homos and heteros outside of marriage and notice how unnormal normal families are on TV. If we are what we see we need to turn the junk off or at least throw in a little balance...You can tell my frustration with what is on my BOOB TUBE literally every night. I mean, yah, the female body is beautiful but it becomes ugly when it's sold like a prostitute for money or so proudfully displayed like some jock, egotistical, body building, self centered/focused football player walking around like the stud of the high school just crying out for all to look his way. I mean I thought women were up and above that... Maybe some still are...but I see hardly any in hollywood or on TV encourage women of modesty... They seem to be jocks at heart... I have nothing against jocks for sports are great and I have nothing against women for my woman is beautiful but I only use this as an illustration to make a point that to some its disgustingly annoying...And maybe a little perspective from another perspective can help...And not only that but us males including myself struggle with loving dirt sometimes and so you put the 2 together and JOCKS RULE only until judgment day and then we find out we never ruled in the first placed. Sin was ruling us...So we ought to keep ourselves dressed and walk humbly before the LORD both us haughty male jocks and/but not forgeting the female jock, no matter how fashionable she may be, just to be fair anyways...and love those who disagree for we would want the same ourselves...

 

Sorry I got way off the subject of the emails but I'll email it anyways to bring attention to the above subject. Now on to the subject of the 2 emails I got this morning that inspired these ramblings...

 

Some on the left argue that the ACLU and their allies are not as problematic to a christians' free speech as christians claim and I'll just lump Hate Crimes legislation and similar bills in there that organizations like the above use to an effect of restraining religious freedoms. I guess if you can use the 1st amendment to restratin religious expression then you can use anything. And that Christians are just paranoid or overly concerned and that these things only happen in other more liberal countries. May I humbly submit that their only news sources must be public TV or something and I agree, it probabily won't happen as easily in America as in other countries because of the many "paranoid" involved christians and ministries "overly" concerned about these issues in America and not only that but they appear to be the only thing in the way!!!! Which tells you something about the influence of christian leadership here in America and the number of the listening audience. But with that let aside many reputable christian leaders have been concerned over these issues and they have been presenting evidence of their concerns in the conservative media for a long time now and now with the internet it is easier then ever to get informed so it seems one would only conclude that christians are "overly" concerned only if they happen to be being informed from a nonconservative news medium. If conservative news mediums are making up stories to make christians paranoid then why don't the opponents expose it instead of ignoring it? Or instead of ignoring they seem to lay such insignificant emphasis on it that it might as well be ignored, with a quick clip here or there on page 10 after all the more "important" headlines have been covered. Is this not a bias? What one deems headliner worthy is quite revealing when comparing conservative and non conservative news mediums. It is probabily the biggest indicator of bias on both sides. Also this gives the reader a bias. For what makes headlines is going to be emphasized in the mind of the reader even though you may do a non headliner story on something else. What gets the headlines gets more emphasis and credibility and issue of problem importance if you will in the mind of the reader and can give a false/true assumption that this is the case in the mind of other readers. And again you will see a world of difference between liberal and conservative headlines. So you decide if I am being picky or no. 

 

But just wait a second, here.. Back to the paranoia...What about the paranoia on the otherside like ORGANIZED ORGANIZATIONS like the ACLU and their allies. Where is the proof of christians taking over America!!! Where is the proof that christians are taking over evolution in schools!!! I suppose if being critical of evolution equates to take over then behold the scientific paranoia!!! If we respond in defense of our religious rights does that equal an establishment of religion!!! If we vote for presidents and elected officials that we tend to like to vote for cause they are in line with our core values like everybody else does, does this equate to religious radical right agenda!!! How does religious artwork in a class of other artful expressions equate to violation of the 1st, a teacher kneeling in prayer at a student lead prayer happening or a teachers Bible out on his desk for 18 years all of the sudden in our FREE, WELL ORGANIZED, SCIENTIFIC, HIGHLY EVOLVED, RATIONALLY ENLIGHTENED, SECULAR, LIBERAL, MODERN DAY, ADVANCED AND REASONABLE SOCIETY/INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS equate to 1st amendment violation unless you are indeed beholding real life in real time paranoia!!!! If those of the secular community allow for shallow criticism of the hypocrisy of organized religious folk then to be fair they SHOULD allow equal criticisms of their own ORGANIZED SECT OF SECULARISM. It appears to me that if ORGANIZED SECULAR HUMANISM were to have its way we wouldn't be able to share our beliefs or have signs of our faith in public institutions. Or in other words, God talk is condemned in the name of SECULARISM. HOW CONVENIENT FOR AN INTOLERANT, CLOSED MINDED, BIASED, RELIGIOUS ATHEIST!!!! Why should we favour the HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH OF ATHEISM over any other? In the name of secularism all beliefs are deemed to be unfit for public health except that which favours its own view!!! How different is this then going to a church? I thought different churches and having different beliefs concerning God were the problems in the world causing all the wars (not Planned Parenthood or Communism or Socialism and all the atheistic Stalins and Marxist and Maoist and so forth). So how is a belief concerning God namely that He doesn't exist or we should be indifferent concerning the issue of God or that we should suppress such speech help any of it???!!!!  Isn't this kind of like, more then endorsing a belief, but rather, forcing a belief on another??? Which is kind of like violating the 1st amendment???

Anyways. On to the two coinciding emails I received this morning: One from friends and the other for an action alert from AFA. See below. Oh, and on one of these cases below I did an email to you all on 04/15/2008 with actual pictures of the religious art work that got a 0 from the teacher and the context of the story and two other pictures for comparison in the same class room that didn't get a 0 and an interview on the conservative CNN cable show by Sean Hannity of both lawyers involved and more... You can click on "The Smithsonian/A can't miss Interview with Michael Moore/Starbucks and more??!!!"-04/15/2008 if you no longer have it in your email.

Life, liberty or your pursuit of happiness will not be endangered because someone says a 30-second prayer before a football game.  So what's the big deal?  It's not like somebody is up there reading the entire Book of Acts.  They're just talking to a God they believe in and asking him to grant safety to the players on the field and the fans going home from the game.
But it's a Christian prayer, some will argue.
Yes, and this is the United States of America, a country founded on Christian principles. According to our very own phone book, Christian churches outnumber all others better than 200-to-1 So what would you expect -- somebody chanting Hare Krishna?
If I went to a football game Jerusalem, I would expect to hear a Jewish prayer.
If I went to a soccer game in Baghdad, I would expect to hear a Muslim prayer.
If I went to a ping pong match in China, I would expect to hear someone pray to Buddha.And I wouldn't be offended.  It wouldn't bother me one bit.  When in Rome...
 
But what about the atheists? Is another argument.
What about them?  Nobody is asking them to be baptized.  We're not going to pass the collection plate.  Just humor us for 30 seconds.  If that's asking too much, bring a Walkman or a pair of ear plugs.  Go to the bathroom.  Visit the concession stand.  Call your lawyer!
Unfortunately, one or two will make that call.  One or two will tell thousands what they can and cannot do.  I don't think a short prayer at a football game is going to shake the world's foundations.
Christians are just sick and tired of turning the other cheek while our courts strip us of all our rights.  Our parents and grandparents taught us to pray before eating, to pray before we go to sleep.  Our Bible tells us to pray without ceasing.  Now a handful of people and their lawyers are telling us to cease praying.
God, help us.  And if that last sentence offends you, well, just sue me.
The silent majority has been silent too long.  It's time we tell that one or two who  scream loud enough to be heard that the vast majority doesn't care what they want.  It is time that the majority rules!  It's time we tell them, You don't have to pray; you don't have to say the Pledge of Allegiance; you don't have to believe in God or attend services that honor Him.  That is your right, and we will honor your right; but by golly, you are no longer going to take our rights away.  We are fighting back, and we WILL WIN!
God bless us one and all ... especially those who denounce Him, God bless America, despite all her faults.  She is still the greatest nation of all.  God bless our service men who are fighting to protect our right to pray and worship God.
 
Let's make 2008 the year the silent majority is heard and we put God back as the foundation of our families and institutions ... and our military forces come home from all the wars.

A teacher, a coach, and a student have religious freedoms stripped away

The rights of Christians are under attack again! Consider what has happened just in the last week:

• In New Jersey, East Brunswick High School officials told football coach Marcus Borden he cannot kneel and bow his head while members of his team have a student-led pre-game prayer. (source)
• In Wisconsin's Tomah Area School District, a teacher refused to give a student identified only as A.T. a grade on an art project because his work included "John 3:16" as well as "A sign of love." However, Buddha, Hindu and sorcerers are considered "approved" forms of art by the school. (source)
• In Mt. Vernon, Ohio, school leaders told teacher John Freshwater he must put his Bible out of sight when students are in his room. Mr. Freshwater has refused to do so. He has had a Bible on his desk for the past 18 years. (source)

Our religious freedoms are slowly being taken away, mainly because Christians have not taken a stand! People of faith are being forced to remain silent while other religions are accepted in the name of "tolerance."

Take Action!
